What you´ve done already, I´ll have to do the in next years.
Today I did some adjustment at the steering, because of changing both axle-joints (Anmerkung für den D-sprachigen Leser: Achsgelenke) after 493.000km. Mercedes A-Class parts break down after some 80.000km.
And i changed the right 3-edge-steering because of massive corrosion. At the point to adjust the steering, i badly noticed, that the nut had rusted very strong. After solving that little problem, I mounted the new summer-tyres on and I took a ride.
It´s awesome if you only have to glow for some seconds and that high-miled engine starts up as it has come down the assembly-line in June 1981.
Old Diesel´s never die!

I am trying to get to the meeting in July. The apprentice (age 8) has to have his first trip to VW-mekka.

I will be coming in the Kadaver-auto, I hope to get it through "Syn" (TUV) within the next four weeks.

The next Diesel is slowly getting planned in my head. I have an G1 diesel from the danish military, that I would like to make in to a all-year car.
