Hallo aus England! / Hello fellow Golf fans!
I am sorry for my lack of German, I visit here to seek your help.
I have been trying for many years to solve the 'Data Sticker' (Ecotag) and with the help of this website and some others I have almost completed the task.
There is one remaining code which I do not understand; in your example here it is the first four digits '1102'

Does anyone know what this code signifies? My car (which is an 08/83 Alpine White Campaign) has the code '1212' in this position.
I would be VERY grateful to receive someone's help!

This Position at the Data Sticker declared the country of Destination.
Cars for Germany : Sort Nr.1483
Cars for France : Sort Nr. 1129
Cars for GB : Sort Nr. 1212
